2024 The 3rd Southern Guangdong Vocal Star Contest

Life is often compared to a song, with a melody that deepens and becomes more vibrant and meaningful as time goes by. The roads we’ve traveled and the scenery we’ve appreciated add more layers to the colors of our lives. Together, we can shine brighter with the times, embrace a new era, and sing of our renewed lives with more passion. Just as the glow of the setting sun is warm and touching, we, too, can inspire with youthful hearts. We invite you to join the Southern Guangdong Vocal Star Contest and together create a magnificent musical movement!

【Purpose of the Contest】
This event aims to showcase the sense of fulfillment and happiness of middle-aged and elderly people in the new era, while encouraging society to pay attention to and support this community. It also invites participants from all over China and overseas to take the stage and compete for the honor of being crowned the ” Southern Guangdong Vocal Star”!

【Contest Format】

• Solo, Group Singing (no restrictions on song choice or singing style)

【Competition Categories】

• Blossom Group (Ages 30-50)

• Youth Group (Ages 51-60)

• Prime Group (Ages 61-70)

(Note: For individual participants, age is determined as of January 1st of the competition year. For group participants, the average age of the group determines the category.)

【Prizes】

 Gold,  Silver,  Bronze medals will be given in each category in the overseas division.

【Contest Benefits 】

• Gold, Silver and Bronze medalists in overseas division can participate in the global finals held in China

• Gold medalists in overseas division will be invited to perform at the “We Are in Our Prime” Gala, broadcast on Guangdong Radio and Television Station’s News Channel.

【Judges】

Well-known musicians and vocal educators serve as judges to ensure the fairness, impartiality and professionalism of the competition.
